Sometimes they look like giant marshmallows

Sometimes they look like giant marshmallows

I’ve posted pictures of hayrolls several times before. They are interesting subjects in the summer, but in the winter, they become comical. Most farmers wrap them for the winter in white plastic to prevent them from getting wet and rotting. The results dot the Kentucky landscape with either a field of giant marshmallows; or if they are wrapped in a continuous wrapper, giant worms.

Agricultural shots don’t have to be pastoral or esoteric. There are a lot of funny and interesting things that can be seen in farming communities.L

Keep shooting 🙂
