I have used Adobe Photoshop filters many times, usually for fine art flower photography. However, recently I decided to try them with a couple of photos that were not as great as I had hoped when I took them. I experimented with several filters, which you can do in Photoshop with the preview mode, before saving them. I decided to use the splatter filter on these pictures to produce an impressionistic effect. I like the way it blends with the rustic nature of the subjects.

Adobe has a lot of great tutorials on its website, www.photoshop.com.

Have fun with your camera 🙂
